Painting with alcohol inks is a relatively new art form that is whimsical, intuitive, relaxing, loose, spontaneous, playful, and downright fun. No art experience is necessary. Brand new as well as experienced artists are encouraged to attend.
Alcohol inks are brilliantly colored transparent dyes dissolved in alcohol. They move and blend all on their own, magically creating unique textures, depth, and vibrancy that cannot be achieved with water-based paints. They are waterproof and can be used on any hard, non-porous surface, i.e. Yupo paper, mineral (rock) paper, tile, plastic, metal, glass, gourds....)
